Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’…
Yee-haw! It’s time for our traditional New Academic Year round-up
“Eyup, pardner” - Rowdy Wright rides again (with his segar)
#Wot?NoBowTie?
There’s been a rather American vibe here at Wrightington Towers for a while now…
While Robert’s been working on this term’s A History of the USA (inter alia), I’ve been immersing myself in Colonial America via historical fiction.
I’ve not been so immersed, however, that I’d forget our now-traditional Fall Autumn round-up of our upcoming Short & Sweet courses.
We know that many of you find these round-ups helpful at this point in the calendar, as it’s very easy for a short course to slip off one’s I’ll Sort That Out Soon list as one makes the most of the last vestiges of summer and starts hunkering down for autumn.*
* [One might even say: 🎶Through rain and wind and weather…🎵]
And yes… perhaps because we are in an American groove, the mere notion of rounding anything up inevitably led us to a persistent earworm (vide: right, in case you’ve not yet been similarly afflicted and might still be wondering).
Yes. I do know that it’s dogies, not doggies. Sorry-not-sorry…
So. To honour our autumnal rounding-up tradition in a “Fall ‘25” idiom, it’s time to dig out those shiny new pencil cases, keepin’ those doggies rollin’…
Are there any [Short & Sweet] things you’re missin’?
(& no … it’s not too late to register for this!)
The final entry in our round-up isn’t a Short & Sweet, but it is a short course (so still belongs here)…
So voila - we’ve cut ‘em out and ridden ‘em in. Errr… possibly (I’ve never been entirely sure what those bits actually mean, to be honest).
